SOCIAL MINISTRY BOARD
Human care ministry is a vital part of our ministry for those inside and outside the church walls. The Social Ministry Board works to strengthen both the congregation and friends of First Saint Paul's through prayer, volunteerism, and monetary support.
For over 25 years, Community Meals has been the centerpiece of the church’s social ministry. The church’s reach is extended to other special-needs populations through support of established social service providers. Each Lenten season, the congregation targets programs and organizations through the Caring & Sharing program.
EVANGELISM, OUTREACH & COMMUNICATIONS BOARD
Working as an extension of the church to draw people in, the group acts as a liaison between the community and the congregation. Its purpose is to inform the community of the congregational events, while informing the congregation of community needs and trends. This includes designing and producing banners and other signage at the church and in the neighborhood, having a social media presence, keeping our website up to date and handling advertising as well as participating in neighborhood events.
